Riding a professional bike, visiting mosaic ceramic wall, farming zone along Red River, West Lake, Buddhist & French architecture

8:00 AM: Get picked up from the hotel then transfer to the bike store. After a short briefing, start cycling along the world’s longest mosaic ceramic picture to the edge of the Red River dyke. Stop at the pottery pier where they transport products by boat from famous traditional handicraft villages all around Hanoi.

Continue cycling on the small road to the Nhat Tan village, which is famous for farming bonsai Dao ( Peach) and Quat ( Kumquat) trees. They are considered lucky during Tet (the Vietnamese lunar New Year). We will learn how gardeners work on their farms and take great photos with them.

You will then bike towards the flower market and then West Lake. You may take a short bike ride (5km) or a longer bike ride (12km) to visit the oldest pagoda in Hanoi (Tran Quoc). Itdates back to the 6th century during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De Dynasty. Enjoy a rest with a cup of local coffee or local beer on the lake side with a beautiful view before heading to the French Quarter.

You will feel like you’re in Paris when passing the French architectural buildings such as: the Presidential Palace and the Cua Bac church. Take some nice photos at the Northern Gate of the Citadel on the Green road Phan Dinh Phung before cycling back to the bike store.

    Note: Biking distance is flexible.
